The next generation of the Audi Q3 is on its way. Audi showed a first teaser for the new SUV on June 10 and set June 16 for the premiere. The third generation of the SUV from Ingolstadt has already been spotted on test drives. Everything we know so far

This is the new Audi Q3, and it looks like the German brand's small SUV is getting a completely new exterior. The Ingolstadt-based company has shared two official teaser images that give a preview of the presentation.
New Audi Q3: Exterior design
We get a closer look through the prototypes, which have been making their rounds on test drives since 2023. We see that it is almost without camouflage and has a new design.
Viewed from the front, the references to other models in the Volkswagen Group are striking. Thus, the new Q3 is not only similar to the new Q5, but also to the Cupra Terramar. The slim headlights together with the massive radiator grille and the wide air intake provide a grim look that is intended to enhance the sportiness.
The daytime running lights are also separate from the front headlights, as in the design of the newer models. The light units are also the focus of Audi's second teaser shown so far:
There are unlikely to be any major changes in the proportions. The Terramar from Cupra, which was recently introduced, is 4.52 meters long, 1.86 meters wide and 1.58 meters high with a wheelbase of 2.67 meters. The Q3 should also have these dimensions, as both vehicles are on the same platform. A more coupé-like Sportback version of the Q3 is likely to follow at a later date.
At the rear, there is a light strip reminiscent of the Q6. However, the lights seem to have a different signature, which should probably serve as a distinguishing feature for the Q3.
New Audi Q3: Interior and infotainment
There are no official images of the interior of the new Audi Q3 yet, but it will probably be similar in design to the new Audi Q6 e-tron (pictured below).
While this hasn't been confirmed, the Q6 e-tron features an all-new interior design that is likely to shape future models as well. Expect a similarly curved infotainment display and curved dashboard.
New Audi Q3: Powertrain
In terms of drives, the Q3 is likely to be strongly based on the variants that were already announced in the Terramar. The base model is likely to be a 150 hp mild hybrid with 1.5 liters of displacement, 250 Nm of torque and seven-speed automatic. quattro variants as all-wheel drive will of course also be included. Diesel engines also seem likely. A plug-in hybrid is also likely to be in Audi's range, after this drive variant has recently enjoyed greater popularity.
We will only find out which engine variants are waiting for us at the official presentation at the official presentation.
New Audi Q3: When will the SUV be presented?
The official presentation of the new Audi Q3 is scheduled for June 16, 2025. This means that a market launch should still take place in 2025 and the third generation of the Audi Q3 should be at dealerships by winter at the latest.
